So the other day I typed in "Cleve Jones" in the Deviantart search engine and I got: [link]
I am utterly, horribly, appallingly appalled at the lack of Cleveage going on around here. For those of you who aren't manly enough to have seen Milk yet (I apologize to those who are just too busy between swim meets, golf practice and watching the Powerpuff Girls that they just haven't had the time) I would like to introduce the indispensible Cleve Jones, portrayed by Emile Hirsch (another thing I'm gonna wait to bring up). This kid. is. gorgeous. And it's not just about the hair and the glasses. But that is certainly a really, really big part of it. So, anyway, I thought I'd spend some good zillion hours putting together a bunch of Cleve art. I had a lot of fun doing this and I will definitely be drawing Cleve many times in the future. If you haven't seen Milk, you're probably not going to understand the quotes or scenes or costumes or anything, but you can at least laugh at my attempts to get closer and closer to something that looks like Emile Hirsch's face: [link] We shall see... |
